Let Us Give Thanks

Welcome through my red door!

Thanksgiving Delights!

20101121_2

On Thanksgiving Day, we’re thankful for

20101121_3

Our blessings all year through,

20101121_4

For family we dearly love,

20101121_5

For dear friends, old and new.

20101121_6

For sun to light and warm our days,

20101121_7

For stars that glow at night,

20101121_9

For trees of green and skies of blue,

20101121_10

And puffy clouds of white.

20101121_11

We’re grateful for our eyes that see

20101121_12

The beauty all around,

20101121_8

For arms to hug, and legs to walk,

20101121_15

And ears to hear each sound.

20101121_19

The list for all we’re grateful for

20101121_13

Would fill a great big book;

20101121_14

20101121_16

Our thankful hearts find new delights

20101121_18

Everywhere we look!

  3. What a beautiful post! The tablescape is gorgeous and the thankfulness list is wonderful! Sometimes we take things like eyes to see and ears to hear, etc for granted and forget to give thanks! Thanks for the reminder!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  6. I love your centerpiece. I may steal your idea of using feathers for my next table. I have a pheasant thing going and it would fit right in. You made a lovely table!

  7. Sending a sweet hello from Frog Hollow Farm! I'm popping over from Tablescape Thursday, a bit late I know! Your table is just beautiful - the napkin rings look like dried zinnia - are they? I love the addition of those feathers too, and your place settings are just lovely. Your photos are phenomenal too - I didn't take as many of my table - I don't think I have the skill to take such great photos - I need to work on focusing on more details in the table. Oh well, maybe for my Christmas Eve table! Ciao, bella!

  10. BEAUTIFUL! I love that centerpiece birdcage-y thing. And the feathers are just great. I'm really into feathers these days. The color of the Fiestaware is new to me as well. Great table, I'm so inspired!

  13. The centerpiece is to die for. I just wonder where did you purchased the gorgeous thing?

Your TS is an outstanding. LUV every piece and with the prose? Can't ask for more. Everything is perfect.

    Happy TS & TTT...
